This special edition car was created to celebrate 25 years of quattro in the USA because North America has about 85% quattro -equipped cars, while the rest of the world only has about 15% quattro equipped cars. It is based on the DTM exterior package available in Germany as of May 2005. 250 units only available in the USA: it has the “40/60″ quattro only available on S4 6-speed manual cars Dealer arrival end of October or early November 2005. Vehicle hand-made interior is unique to this special edition car for the USA, not even available in Germany. It features the carbon fiber trim coming on the RS4 arriving at dealers in Spring 2006.

Other features include special “quattro” hand-made embossing on the seats, as well as jet grey inserts on the seating centers and door panels. Finally, a special shift knob has been created by quattro GmbH (Audi’s performance and customizing subsidiary) just for these cars. All shift knobs will have the identical “1 of 250″ to make the cars as equal as possible. However, each of the 250 cars will have a unique VIN code. The next 3 pages provide more pictures.

The car is worth its USD $7950 package price because of (1) the custom designed bumpers to fit US crash standards, (2) custom painted grille and license plate area in Phantom black metallic color, (3)custom fitted exhaust for the rear (normal S4 has quad exhaust tips), (4) hand crafted interior to include jet grey seat/door inserts, stitching, steering wheel, (5) RS4 carbon fiber trim which is much more expensive than S4 carbon fiber which has smaller carbon fiber patterns, (6) special “1 of 250″ shift knob,” (7) carbon fiber accents on front bumper and rear trunk spoiler, (8) special 18″ DTM 15-spoke wheels, (9) special VIN code showing which of 250 the car is, (10) retro Audi logo ring stickers that can be affixed to the doors at customer request.
