Based on the fixed volume 815 micropipette, the Acura® manual 810 is a double volume instrument using polypropylene straw tips in place of regular tips. Intended for the subsequent pipetting of 1 mL and 0.1 mL of the same liquid without volume setting. It replaces graduated glass pipettes when performing sequential 1:10 dilutions in bacteriology applications (ex. milk testing)
