In order to use your Nokia phone with the engin service you will first need to setup and engin account and request for the engin settings to be sent via SMS to your phone. Please contact engin customer service on 1300 305 000 to have the settings sent to your phone.
The SMS will automatically set-up your Nokia phone with your engin phone number as well as settings to enable your wireless access point. Once the SMS has been received, please follow the simple steps below to configure your phone.

Step 1
Once the SMS has been received, your phone will prompt for a PIN. Enter the PIN given by engin and press ok (your PIN is the last 4 numbers of your engin phone number)
Step 2
A summary of the settings will be presented. Press Options and then Save settings. The engin settings are now saved in the phone, this step only needs to be done once.

Connecting to an Access Point
Before you can make a phone call using engin, your phone must first be connected to a wireless access point.
To connect to a wireless access point, select Menu -> Tools -> Internet Tel.
The phone will now scan for access points available in the area; these will be displayed on the screen.
The Star Icon indicates the default access point; the padlock icon indicates the wireless accessed point is secured. Select the desired access point.
