HOW TO GENERATE A PDF FILE
1. Open the file that you wish to plot in Adobe Photoshop.
2. Choose File – Save As from the menu.
3. The Save As dialog box appears. This box allows you to name the file, change its file format, and its location.
4. To change the file format to a PDF, click on Format. From the pull down menu, choose Photoshop PDF.
5. Since the purpose of the PDF is for output, it is best to have a flat image. To make a flat image, check As a Copy and uncheck Layers.
6. Press Save.
7. An Adobe Photoshop window will appear. Click OK.
8. The Save Adobe PDF dialogue box will appear.
9. The panel on the left allows for editing the PDF. Since the purpose of the PDF is for output, it is best to have file sizes smaller than 10MB . To edit the file size click Compression.
10. Under Options change the Bicubic Downsampling to 150 pixels/inch by 150 pixels /inch.
11. To save your PDF file, press Save PDF.
