MOTOROLA V3 DISASSEMBLY GUIDE
This guide will help you replace housing parts and get to the inner parts of your phone. I am in no way responsible for any damage occurred to your phone. If you follow what I say to do in this guide you should be ok. But you need a lot of time and patience when disassembling your phone.
1. Turn off your v3, remove the battery and your sim card.
2. Flick out the small rubber screw covers on the screen. DO NOT
LOOSE these as they are extremely hard to get replacements!
Use the pin to remove the bottom two.
3. Unscrew all 4 screws using the T4 screwdriver.
4. Use your nail to lift up the facia at the top corner of the camera
lens. This should come up easily.
5. Now use the mobile phone opening tool to slide up around the
edges of the facia, work down one side then the other. Then lift
the bottom part, it will be quite stiff but keep pulling. Don’t be
scared you wont damage your phone. Then remove the chrome
buttons.
