Supplemental Guide for Supplier Quality Specialists (SQS) Powerway V3.0

In Powerway V3.0, IRE, CDS, PS0, PPAP are processes. Each process has “To-Do” activities where activities vary by process. The six activities are Work, Watch, Approve, Rework, Promise and Respond.

This manual will guide the Chrysler Group Supplier Quality Specialist (SQS) through completing Chrysler specific tasks in Powerway.com V3.0. These include but are not limited to:
• Submitting the IRE
• Approving/Rejecting CDS requirements
• Entering Promise Dates
• Completing the PSO

DETAILED SET-UP GUIDE
I) BATTERY INSTALLATION
Note: Batteries will fit tightly. To avoid start-up problems make sure that the batteries do not spring free.
A) RAINFALL TRANSMITTER
1. Remove the flat-head screw and battery cover, located on the underside of the base.
2. Observe the correct polarity, and install two AA batteries.
3. Make sure the rubber weather seal is in place and replace the battery cover and screw.
4. Separate the base by turning the rainfall collector in a counter-clockwise direction. Remove the tape from the teeter-totter. Replace the cover.

RotorQ System Settings Guide

The RotorQ system is shipped with default settings that are in compliance with Daimler-Chrysler’s specifications. Most of the settings in the software should not need to be changed. Changing any of the settings that are not described below will likely make the system and it’s test results non-compliant. Future releases of the RotorQ software may hide these settings from the user. There are, however, settings that need to be changed to prevent extremely long test times. Some of these settings are in the program’s “File => Preferences => System Settings…” menu item.
