This installation guide is intended to supplement the BMW Installation Instructions to help you with the installation of the BMW Sirius Receiver for X5 (E53) with Navigation. I opted for the Terk SIR3 Low-Profile Magnetic Mount antenna and mounted it in the spoiler. As a result, this guide will not cover the installation of the BMW Sirius Satellite Antenna and you should follow the instructions supplied with the BMW Sirius Satellite Antenna Kit if you decide to go that route. I found no signal loss or weak reception with the antenna being in the spoiler and would strongly recommend if you want to be stealth and do not like the obtrusive shape of the BMW Sirius antenna on your roof.

Your phone has an internal antenna that is located toward the top of the phone.

In the Nokia 2125i phone, the GPS antenna is internal and is activated when you place emergency calls or when On is selected from the Location info sharing menu. Before you can use the UPS monitoring software program, you need to install the cable connecting the UPS system to the serial port on the computer. All new UPS systems have the serial communications port on the back panel, labeled RS-232C. The cable for most UPS units is made with two male DB-9 connectors. It connects between the female DB-9 connector on the UPS rear panel and any compatible serial port on the computer. Be sure the cable is shielded and is terminated on the shell of the connector.
