One of the biggest performance upgrades you can make to your XR or CRF 50 is to replace the stock semi auto clutch with a fully manual clutch. By adding a manual clutch, you can expect your 50 to launch harder out of corners, and you can also expect to get a faster jump off the starting line. Evaporator Case Assembly The evaporator case assembly is attached to the engine side of the dash panel. The case is a two-piece molded construction, one piece of which forms a cover over the evaporator core. An integral vacuum reservoir is part of the cover housing. This reservoir and the vacuum motor, which operates the outside/recirc air door, are linked through a check valve to a hose that supplies engine vacuum. The blower housing is an integral part of the evaporator case. It houses the blower motor and wheel assembly which attaches to the case through a mounting flange on the blower motor. The blower motor resistor assembly is attached to the case with its thermal elements extending into the air stream inside the evaporator case. The suction accumulator/drier is attached to the evaporator core by a support bracket.

STEP 1. Remove the contents from the box and check for any damage. Verify all parts against the parts list.
STEP 2. Read and understand instructions completely before beginning installation.
STEP 3. Determine passenger and driver mount brackets from figure above.
STEP 4. Remove the (16) push type retainers and (2) 6mm bolts from the lower splash shield. Remove plastic splash shield to gain access to mounting locations.

Installing
- Pull clutch pedal into passenger compartment.
- Insert over-center spring into rear mounting first (arrow B), then operate clutch pedal until the retaining clamp seats on the mounting lug of the clutch pedal (arrow A).
- Take out retaining clamp while bringing clutch pedal to rest position.

The Reaper is a centrifugal disc clutch designed to mount on a ¾” crankshaft or jackshaft for race karts with engines up to 20hp. This manual will help you gain maximum performance as well as longevity of the components. This is a racing clutch and should not be used in any application other than kart racing. Aluminum drum is for use in stock and super stock classes. Steel drum is required on jackshaft mounting for 2 stroke racing and in limited and limited mod classes in 4 stroke racing. COMPRESSOR CLUTCH CONTROL
Evaporator Temperature Switch
Although compressor clutch does not normally cycle on and off, an evaporator temperature switch turns off the compressor clutch if evaporator temperature decreases to 32øF (0øC). This prevents evaporator icing.

A/C Pressure Switch
A/C pressure switch is a triple-pressure switch, which monitors high side pressure. See Fig. 1. If pressure decreases to less than 17.4 psi (1.2 kg/cmý), A/C pressure switch interrupts power to compressor clutch (low-pressure cutout). Switch closes when pressure increases to more than 34.8 psi (2.4 kg/cmý).

This kit is designed to fit the 1995 and newer AX15 transmission. Earlier model transmissions can use a stock pilot bushing, one with a .590″ I.D. We recommend that the stock flywheel be removed and resurfaced at a machine shop. A new clutch disc and release bearing has been provided in this kit. A new pressure plate is also recommended before installing your new transmission. We offer a Centerforce pressure plate, Part No. CF361914. Before disposing of the old AX5 transmission, you will need to retain the shifter housing from that transmission. You will also be using the stock 4 cylinder bellhousing and stock release arm and crossmember mount.
