INSTALL FLYWHEEL
1. Drain 20% of the oil from the bike first.
2. Shut the gas supply off on the bike, then lay it over on its side. A small amount of gas will leak from the overflow tubes when the bike is first laid down.
3. Remove shifter.
4. Remove bolts holding the side cover on (no need to remove one of the oil filter bolts).
5. Remove oil fill cap.
6. Disconnect clutch cable and lay cable out of the way.

The machine consists of a base plate with a vibration element and an upper part cushioned from the base plate, which is designed as both an engine plate and water tank (F 70A / F 90A). The cushioning between the base plate and the upper part consists of rubber dampers. The power is transmitted from the petrol engine to the vibration element via a V-beltwhich can be adjusted with a belt tensioner. The engine V-belt pulley is fitted with an integrated centrifugal clutch, which allows the engine to be started and run idle without the vibrator being connected.

There are two kinds available on this model – the standard petrol engine and the FSI® direct-injection engine. FSI® is a unique Audi technology originally developed for the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race to deliver increased power and torque as well as enhanced fuel efficiency. The way it does this is, in theory, very simple. Fuel is injected directly into the combustion chambers, ‘unthrottling’ the engine, reducing heat-loss and increasing output – all whilst reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
