For the operating method and precautions for the Super Airflow Converter, refer to the Instruction Manual. When installing the Super Airflow Converter, both this document and the Instruction Manual are required. Even if the car model and manufacturing year coincide with the contents described in this document, this product may not be installed in certain specification vehicles or remodeled vehicles. 1) Disconnect negative battery cable and ground strap at transaxle. Disconnect positive battery cable. Remove battery and battery base. Remove drain plug, and drain transaxle fluid (remove fill plug to speed draining). Install drain plug with NEW washer, and tighten plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE at the end of this article.
2) Disconnect wiring for starter motor, transaxle lock-up control solenoid and shift control solenoid. Remove starter. Disconnect mainshaft and countershaft speed sensor connectors. Remove complete air cleaner case assembly. Disconnect and remove throttle control cable at transaxle bracket.

The number one reason for transmission failure is fluid breakdown. Over time, the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) becomes contaminated and loses its viscosity and the ability to lubricate the moving parts within the transmission. Conventional service methods of dropping the pan and changing the filter result in only about 30-40% of the total ATF in the transmission being drained out. That leaves 60-70% of the old ATF to be mixed with the new ATF introduced during service. Therefore, adequate lubrication is not achieved.

Although this turbo system has been designed to use existing emissions controls (including catalytic converter), check local laws regarding aftermarket modification to emission controlled vehicles. Remove the turbocharger kit from its carton and inspect for any obvious physical damage. All kit components are thoroughly inspected and carefully packaged prior to shipment from the factory. If any shipping damage is evident, contact your supplier and request that they process a claim with the shipper involved. Be sure to review the Turbo System Parts List to verify that you have all necessary kit components to proceed. If any components in the parts list are missing, contact Turbonetics, Inc. Customer Service department.

Every member of the Virtex®-5 FPGA family contains a single System Monitor, which is located in the center of every die. The System Monitor function is built around a 10-bit, 200-kSPS (kilosamples per second) Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). When combined with a number of on-chip sensors, the ADC is used to measure FPGA physical operating parameters like on-chip power supply voltages and die temperatures. Access to external voltages is provided through a dedicated analog-input pair (VP/VN) and 16 user-selectable analog inputs, known as auxiliary analog inputs (V AUXP [15:0], V AUXN [15:0]). The external analog inputs allow the ADC to monitor the physical environment of the board or enclosure. System Monitor is fully functional on power up, and measurement data can be accessed via the JTAG port pre-configuration.
