Permission Granted: ADC triumphs on a tough site with ArchiCAD

The site was in a very appealing location, within one of the housing hotspots of the Midlands. The private location in a leafy green setting was perfect for a high quality development of four 2.5 storey 2500sqft detached houses. However, our design proposal would be a backland development, additional houses built within an already built up area, on the edge of Sutton Park. “We were confident that we could design a scheme that would give maximum site coverage whilst retaining the leafy setting.

NOKIA N93 Review

The Nokia N93’s predecessor, the N90, made its mark on the mobile communications front as one of the first phones to truly focus on enhancing the mobile imaging experience. Its bulky form factor was not a hit among the fashion set but its innovative features fascinated photo and video enthusiasts. The N93 builds upon the success of the N90 by offering a 3.2 megapixel camera, VGA quality video recording and 3G capabilities in a sexier body.

Gear Selection for Audi 6sp Manual Transmission

This document is intended as an update towards the progress of our project group in ME344-Machine Design on the manual transmission design project. Our rst assignment was to project values for the spacing between the in- put/mainshafts and the countershaft ( c ), as well as the diametrical pitch for the gears ( P ). With these values set as variables, we were able to determine the diameter of each of the twelve gears ( d 1 ; d 2 ::: ), and number of teeth per gear ( N 1 ; N 2 ; ::: ). All of the calculations were assuming the design to be of spur gears, and were to be calculated based o given information from project state- ment (ie. with particular interest to desired gear ratios for selected speed of transmission).

Electric Tutorial

This tutorial will run through the design and simulation of a ‘plain vanilla’ positive edge triggered D flip-flop. Electric allows the design to be done and linked together through what are called facets. These facets are each different hierarchical levels of the design (i.e. Layout, schematic, VHDL, and so on). The design of this flip-flop will be covered in the transistor, schematic, VHDL, and layout levels. The purpose of this tutorial is to cover those topics that are not covered sufficiently in the provided User’s Manual. It is assumed that the student knows how to create a library and facets of that library.

Buying Guide for BMW 2002

As early as 1963 there had been discussions about a new and smaller BMW. Thoughts began to focus on a short wheelbase two-door version of the New Class saloon. This plan had particular merit because it would help to re-establish the sporting image that BMW had enjoyed in the 1930′s but never recaptured since. The shorter wheelbase would bring handling advantages while the lighter body would improve performance, and of course the two-door configuration would look more sporting than the four-door New Class type. The two-door model did not take long to design.

Nokia 7500 Prism Review

A long time has passed since Nokia dared to introduce such an innovative design that users can admire when looking at the 7500 and 7900 Prism handsets. At a first glance, you might have the impression that there something wrong with the keypad, but the triangular form of the keys is quite comfortable, giving a stylish sensibility to the mobile phone. The unusual bar form of the Prism devices intends to twist people’s minds and conquer the market. A market where most buyers are trendsetters who change their mobile phones according to the fashion trend or simply by their look. Fewer and fewer people are trying to look beyond the design of a handset and choose what is good for them. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but you must be very careful these days, as the offer is tremendously large.

Brief guide to the SAAB 9000

SAAB management first began thinking about the design for an entirely new car in the 1970s but the same financial constraints that precluded development of a new engine delayed any serious design work. Of course, SAAB were not the only manufacturers concerned about the enormous costs associated with the design and introduction of new models and eventually this resulted in a quadripartite alliance of makers in a venture that became known as the Type 4 project.
