Honda GX 160 Tech Manual

HONDA CLAIMER RULE – For GX160 QMA Type Engines
1. Claims will be from within the same division of class only (Junior, Senior, Light GX160, Heavy GX160).
2. Engine may be claimed for $450.00 cash or certified funds or a complete new (still in box) same type Honda engine. This is the option of the person being claimed.
3. Only competitors participating in the same division may make a claim on an engine.
4. This claim must be submitted to the Race Director before the end of the race the claimed engine is in.
5. The Race Director will hold the claim (money or engine) until the claimed engine has been inspected for legality.

Unresolved Technical Concerns In DIS 29500 (OOXML)

This document details a number of current, unresolved, technical concerns with DIS 29500 (OOXML) that persist in the specification even after the Ballot Resolution Meeting (BRM) in Geneva during the week of February 25th, 2008. While this is not an exhaustive list of outstanding concerns, the following highlight the unsuitability of DIS 29500 for Fast Track consideration. As a whole these unresolved concerns support Oracle’s position that National Bodies should not approve DIS 29500. Instead, National Bodies should request that Ecma and Microsoft take advantage of the normal JTC-1 standards development process for OOXML, given the level of market interest in open and interoperable XML-based document formats.

Honda sees strength in differences

Congressman Mike Honda became a schoolteacher early in his career because he wanted to challenge young people not only to learn but to view every student as being on an equal playing field. He became a congressman in large part because he wanted national policy-makers to view all Americans on an equal playing field.

This was the message Rep. Honda gave to employees Thursday as the keynote speaker concluding the Laboratory’s Asian Pacific American Heritage Month festivities.
