The filters are marked with air flow arrows The end of the filter with the arrow should face the rear of the vehicle The arrows should face downward 3 Insert the first filter into the housing and slide it over to the right Insert the second filter into the housing 4 Replace the filter cover 5 Install the glove box door.

Before beginning your installation, please note the following:
• Though our products allow for user friendly installation, Supreme Legends USA recommends all installation of our product to be done by a qualified mechanic or individual.
• Some controls may require additional components not included with your kit. Some instructions may or may not be included such as installation of a brake line or brake banjo switch, minor adjustment of shift rods, or installation of a kickstand bracket on 2000 up FXST models. (extended 2” or 3” models will require longer brake lines and possibly longer shift rods)
• Please remember to use thread locking compound (we recommend Loctite blue 242) on any components which could come loose by vibration. Be certain to verify your mounting bolts, toe and foot pegs. Though we apply Loctite to some of our bolts, we DO NOT apply any to our pegs so that you may make final clocking/comfort adjustments for your particular application. DO NOT USE RED!!
• We recommend using an appropriate motorcycle lift when possible. Be certain the lift can maintain the weight of your bike without question, and be certain to secure the bike as necessary during installation of the controls.
• Be certain to dispose of all fluids properly
• BE AWARE OF WHICH TYPE OF BRAKE FLUID YOU ARE USING IN YOUR LINES. NEVER MIX DOT 4 AND DOT 5 TOGETHER. SUPREME LEGENDS USA WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE INCURRED TO YOUR VEHICLE DUE TO INCORRECT INSTALLATION OF PRODUCT OR USE OF INCORRECT FLUID. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR LOCAL DEALER.
• Remember that with this installation you are modifying your motorcycle, and though our controls are assembled to a “stock” comfortable fitment, there will be adjustment necessary to ensure adequate comfort for your shifting foot, as well as ensuring all shifting is occurring appropriately.

New Bracket installation:
- install new license plate (and frame, if any) BEFORE installing taillight on bracket
- pass wires on the wide cateye taillight through main bracket, and fasten taillight on the bracket using two bolts on the light; make sure to install the light so that clear window faces downward, toward lic. plate
- install new bracket over metal fender frame as shown; loosely fasten one side tab, press bracket over other side, and fasten the other tab, and tighten bolts evenly.
- re-install wires through clips in fender frame; make sure wiring is properly routed, to avoid interference with rear wheel, fender bolts, etc.
- re-install fender assembly; used specified Torque values (47 ft. lb; per service manual)
- reconnect rear turn signal wires (brakelight connection – see below)

TRW Automotive supplies the Alfa Romeo 159’s standard electronic stability control system, which automatically brakes individual wheels and adjusts throttle to prevent slides and spins. TRW’s stability control system also offers two additional features: hill-hold, a function that automatically keeps the brakes applied until the driver gives the right amount of acceleration to start on a slope without rolling backwards; and brake assist, which automatically increases the pressure applied to the brake pedal in the event of an emergency. A phone prewire extension harness(center console to left side trunk, illustration 1) must be installed on the E46 (328i, 328iA) produced the first two weeks of 6/98 if the phone kit is being installed. The phone prewire option SA640 was not installed on vehicles produced during the first two weeks of 6/98. E46′s produced after the second week of 6/98 will have this phone prewire option SA640 installed at the factory.

Slip indicator light and Vehicle dynamic control VDC off indicator light in the Instruments and controls section Indicator light If malfunction occurs in the system and indicator lights come the on in the instrument panel As long as these indicator lights are on the traction control function is canceled. The Slip indicator will flash if wheel spin is detected The ABS will still operate with the VDC system off.

With the Audi advanced key you can start the engine without having to insert the key in the ignition lock. You only need to have the remote control key on your person. Switching on the ignition: Press the START button r briefly down to the first stop (diesel engines: preheating starts in this position).
