Installing
- Pull clutch pedal into passenger compartment.
- Insert over-center spring into rear mounting first (arrow B), then operate clutch pedal until the retaining clamp seats on the mounting lug of the clutch pedal (arrow A).
- Take out retaining clamp while bringing clutch pedal to rest position.

The A4 1.8 T sedan with FrontTrak offers a choice of a five-speed manual transmission or Audi’s multitronic™ Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), and quattro with a six-speed manual or a five-speed Tiptronic® automatic transmission.

The A4 3.0 sedan is available with FrontTrak and multitronic CVT or with quattro and a six-speed manual or a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. The A4 Avant is standard with quattro and available with the 1.8 T engine and a five-speed manual transmission or with the 3.0-liter V6 and a six-speed manual or a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.

This Borla Performance Cat-Back™ Exhaust System (Part number 140142) has been designed for 2004 Audi TT equipped with a 3.2L V-6 engine, all-wheel drive and automatic or manual transmissions. Borla Performance Industries recommends that an exhaust shop or professional after market parts installer, who has all the necessary equipment, tools and experienced personnel needed for proper installation, should perform the installation of this system. Servicing injection system
The engine control unit has a self-diagnosis capability. Before carrying out repairs and fault finding the fault memory must be interrogated. The vacuum hoses and connections must also be checked (unmetered air).
♦ Fuel hoses in engine compartment must only be secured with spring-type clips. Clamping-type or screw-type clips must not be used.
♦ A voltage of at least 11.5 V is required for proper operation of the electrical components.
♦ Do not use sealants containing silicone. Particles of silicone drawn into the engine will not be burnt in the engine and will damage the Lambda probe.
