2007 CAMS Manual of Motor Sport

The title ‘Grand Prix’ has associations extending back to the very earliest days of competition and the French form of the words stems from their first use in association with the French Grand Prix. Although at least one earlier event was given the name “Australian Grand Prix”, the premier Australian race was first recognised in 1928, and has been conducted since then each year except 1936 and during World War II. Since 1949 it has been a scratch race, but in the years 1934, 1935, 1937, 1939, 1947 and 1948, the winner was not the fastest, but won on handicap. Since 1985, the Grand Prix has been a round of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

Renault vs Chrysler

Space and comfort are the essence of an MPV, so we need to take a close look at the route that these two have taken. On paper, they both offer seven seats, and the usual luxuries. Access is better on the Grand Voyager, thanks to the sliding doors.Having already looked at the design aspects of the seating, the comfort levels are similar, both having leather trim and offering sufficient legroom. The Renault adds a number of pull-up sun screens on the rear doors, rear windows and the hatch window. All passengers have three-point seatbelts, and are protected by a full complement of airbags.

2007-08 Honda Fit M/T & A/T Base Injector Upgrade Installation Manual

SECTION 1: PRE-INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS:
Step 1: Remove the negative battery cable. Before removing the battery cable, verify that you have the “anti theft” radio code. It is usually located in your owner’s manual or on the side of the glove compartment. If you cannot find the radio code, take your car to your local Honda dealer so that they can retrieve the code through the Honda computer network.
SECTION 2: INJECTOR INSTALLATION
Step 2: Remove the plastic cosmetic cover from the intake manifold.
Step 3: Remove the five 12mm headed bolts/nuts that hold the plastic upper intake manifold to the aluminum lower manifold. Be careful when these two manifolds are not bolted together. Errant bolts/nuts or debris could fall into the intake manifold and cause severe engine damage. It is recommended that you cover the lower intake runners with protective tape or a shop towel.

Acura GSR Whirlwind Intake Manifold Instructions

Removal
1. Relieve the fuel pressure in the system by loosening the banjo bolt on the top of the fuel filter. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail. It is a good idea to replace the washers. Disconnect the fuel harness holder and unbolt. Disconnect the hoses from the fuel pressure regulator (FPR).
2. Disconnect intake hose/pipe from throttle body. Disconnect all hoses leading to the throttle body and intake manifold. Disconnect throttle cable bracket on manifold and throttle cable from throttle body. Disconnect the cables to the the throttle position sensor (TPS) and the map sensor on the throttle body.
3. Unbolt two lower intake manifold bolts that secure manifold to engine block. This bracket willl still be used to accommodate the heater bypass pipe. Unbolt manifold from engine block. Remove manifold, throttle body, and fuel rail as one unit.
4. Remove the intake air bypass (IAB) vacuum tank, check valve and control solenoid unit. Due to the different design of your new manifold, these parts will no longer be used. Do not remove the FPR hose. This hose will be used in the re-installation process.

How Camshafts Work

In this article, you will learn how the camshaft affects engine performance. We’ve got some great animations that show you how different engine layouts, like single overhead cam (SOHC) and double overhead cam (DOHC), really work. And then we’ll go over a few of the neat ways that some cars adjust the camshaft so that it can handle different engine speeds more efficiently.

The key parts of any camshaft are the lobes. As the camshaft spins, the lobes open and close the intake and exhaust valves in time with the motion of the piston. It turns out that there is a direct relationship between the shape of the cam lobes and the way the engine performs in different speed ranges.
