Read and understand these instructions BEFORE attempting to install this product.
1) Getting started
a) Make sure vehicle is parked on a level surface.
b) Set parking brake.
c) Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio.
d) Disconnect negative battery terminal.
e) If engine has run within the past two hours let it cool down.

Removal
1. Relieve the fuel pressure in the system by loosening the banjo bolt on the top of the fuel filter. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail. It is a good idea to replace the washers. Disconnect the fuel harness holder and unbolt. Disconnect the hoses from the fuel pressure regulator (FPR).
2. Disconnect intake hose/pipe from throttle body. Disconnect all hoses leading to the throttle body and intake manifold. Disconnect throttle cable bracket on manifold and throttle cable from throttle body. Disconnect the cables to the the throttle position sensor (TPS) and the map sensor on the throttle body.
3. Unbolt two lower intake manifold bolts that secure manifold to engine block. This bracket willl still be used to accommodate the heater bypass pipe. Unbolt manifold from engine block. Remove manifold, throttle body, and fuel rail as one unit.
4. Remove the intake air bypass (IAB) vacuum tank, check valve and control solenoid unit. Due to the different design of your new manifold, these parts will no longer be used. Do not remove the FPR hose. This hose will be used in the re-installation process.

Photo A Photo B 1. Unclip and remove the intake hose from the air box assembly. 2. Remove the air box hot air flap vacuum hose from the rear of the intake housing. Blank off the vacuum outlet pipe with the rubber plug supplied. 3. Unclip and remove the intake scoop from the front cross member and air box assembly. 4. Remove the flexi hose from between the exhaust manifold and the air box hot air flap. 5. Remove the air box assembly from the front mounting rubber, then slide the assembly out of the rear mounting grommets. Remove the assembly from the car. 1. This is what we’re starting with; a bone stock engine bay. The first step is to disconnect the negative battery cable. This will help to prevent any potential electrical problems, and also will “reset” the PCM so that the computer will be able to “re-learn” the engine with the new intake in place. To disconnect the battery cable, you will need a 10mm socket or wrench. (Note that this may erase your radio station presets, so you might want to write them down first, just in case.)

This part is street legal in all 50 states for use on 1996-2001 Honda Acura Integra Type R vehicles.
1. Please read through the entire instruction sheet to familiarize yourself with the installation before you begin.
2. Start the engine and check for loose connections or coolant/vacuum leaks, etc.
3. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
4. Remove the air filter duct, all vacuum hoses, water (coolant) hoses and electrical connectors from the stock throttle body. Mark all hoses and wires to ensure that they are installed correctly on the new throttle body.
Note: Engine coolant may run from the hoses once disconnected. Plug the end of the hose temporarily.

It is preferable to park on a flat surface, as you may have to engage and disengage the hand brake and shift from gears to neutral. If you cannot do so and are obliged to install the shifter cable bushings on a slightly inclined surface, place wooden blocks in front or behind the wheels to prevent the car from moving while you’re working.

Compact Heat Pump Operating Instructions
Prior to use : -
1 Turn off the power supply at the local isolator
2 Open the door, using a coin or similar tool to unlock it
3 Check that the ground pressure gauge reads at least 0.3 bar. If the pressure is lower than this, open the mains cold water supply valve (fitted outside the case) fully until the gauge reads at least 1.8 bar, at which point a “click”will be heard. Close the mains cold water supply valve fully. If you can’t find this valve, or when you open it the gauge reading does not increase, call your installer and ask them about the mains cold water supply valve on the slinky ground array circuit.

SECTION 1: PRE-INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS:
Step 1: Remove the negative battery cable. Before removing the battery cable, verify that you have the “anti theft” radio code. It is usually located in your owner’s manual or on the side of the glove compartment. If you cannot find the radio code, take your car to your local Honda dealer so that they can retrieve the code through the Honda computer network.
SECTION 2: INJECTOR INSTALLATION
Step 2: Remove the plastic cosmetic cover from the intake manifold.
Step 3: Remove the five 12mm headed bolts/nuts that hold the plastic upper intake manifold to the aluminum lower manifold. Be careful when these two manifolds are not bolted together. Errant bolts/nuts or debris could fall into the intake manifold and cause severe engine damage. It is recommended that you cover the lower intake runners with protective tape or a shop towel.
