Caution before working
1. Before installation, be sure to key off and wait more than 5 minutes for complete discharge of electricity
2. Don’t turn on the ignition during connectors are disconnected, because if you turn on the ignition with disconnected connectors, ECU falsely recognize status of car as an error and display error code on monitor
3. Be sure to use the tools of proper size and usage.
4. Don’t try to dissemble and assemble by force
5. Use proper tape or soft fabric to protect car from scratch or damage
6. Be sure to use power line from cigar lighter. In the case that you cannot use power line from cigar lighter, be sure to use a relay to protect interface from electric shock

This application note describes a method for connecting the LXT901 or LXT907 Ethernet Interface Adapter to the Motorola MC68EN360 Quad Integrated Communications Controller (QUICC) with Ethernet capability. The QUICC/LXT901 combination makes designing routers, bridges, print servers and other, similar products simple and fast. The LXT901 and LXT907 devices have advanced features that make design and fabrication faster and cheaper than typical competitors’ products. GPSinterface is a stand alone utility for the downloading, uploading, managing and exporting of waypoints with Garmin or Magellan GPS receivers. The program is able to connect via serial cable to either of these manufacturers units, provided your computer has a serial communications port. If your machine lacks a serial port, usb to serial adapters are available that will provide a work around. Two commonly used examples are covered on the last page.

Preparation
1. Turn off car engine and remove key from ignition
2. Un-mount your radio from the dash in order to get access to the back side of the radio.
Adapter installation
3. Attach square 14 pins connector to the back of the Honda stereo.
4. Find a place where you can place Car2PC. In many cars there is enough room in the dash to place Car2PC.
Note: Make sure you mount Car2PC in a place with enough room so when you mount the car stereo back you do not break the adapter
5. You may use glove box or other spaces in a dash to direct USB+ Audio cables out

First of all … why? Why would we want to convert PSD files to tiff files? This is what Jen Caputo says in a DST forum … ‘Save your layouts as TIFFs instead of PSDs, you’ll save yourself at least 50% of the disk space. You sacrifice NO quality when saving as a TIFF, it’s just shrunken down, but remember, the compression it uses is lossless, so when you open it back up everything expands right back to where it was before.’ Anyone who uses Photoshop should use layered TIFFs instead of PSDs.’ So basically, you save heaps of space on your hard drive … and who doesn’t want to do that???

The HONASX can either provide up to 2 auxiliary audio inputs to your Honda radio for use with any device that has RCA line level outputs, or provides 1 auxiliary audio input and allows interfacing an aftermarket CD Changer. AUX 1 is the 8 pin DIN to RCA cable which plugs into the 8 pin DIN port on the HONASX interface. AUX 2 is the set of RCAs that are wired directly to the HONASX. These audio inputs are perfectly suited for Multimedia devices such as VCRs, DVD’s, Game Systems or TV tuners. Portable music players such as MP3, MD and CD players can utilize these inputs as well.
