With the Audi advanced key you can start the engine without having to insert the key in the ignition lock. You only need to have the remote control key on your person. Switching on the ignition: Press the START button r briefly down to the first stop (diesel engines: preheating starts in this position). Starting the engine: Press the brake pedal and press START button r down to the second stop on a vehicle with automatic gearbox.
