Setup, Discovering the development environment
The devkits have been fitted with an OpenAT application running:
• Wavecom’s porting of Lua interpreter and virtual machine
• WIP, Wavecom’s TCP/IP stack, set up with a PPP server over UART2. By default, the devkit takes address 192.168.1.4, and gives address 192.168.1.5 to the PC. PPP user is wipuser, its password is 123456.
• A telnet server, serving a Lua interactive shell. You can find the binary, the sample’s sources and the library on the USB key. This first session’s goal will be to set up your PC, so that you can start developing and running Lua programs on WMP100.

Installing SDP-6500 Software
The supplied SDP-6500 program CD contains :
• USB driver
• SDP-6500 program
To control your SDP-6500 Digital Presenter on the PC, save the images into the computer HDD, or print the images, you must connect SDP-6500 Digital Presenter to the PC through USB interface, then install the USB driver and SDP-6500 program using the supplied program CD.

Follow the procedure below.
System requirements
To install the SDP-6500 software, your computer must have at least the following system configuration :
• IBM or IBM compatible computer with a Pentium or higher processor.
• Windows 98 or later (Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000 Professional, XP)
• Display : XGA 1024 x 768, 65536 colors or higher
• USB interface connector
• 32MB or higher RAM

Installing software
To install the software
1. Connect your SDP-6500 Digital Presenter to the PC with USB cable. See the next page.
2. Install the USB driver. See page 5.
3. Install the SDP-6500 control program. See page 7.

INSTALLING THE RADIO GEAR Skip if already assembled in RTR version
a. Install the receiver switch onto the servo mount beside the steering servo with 2 tap screws.
b. Install the steering servo onto the servo mount with four tap screws. (Note the output shaft should be centered between the chassis frames.)
