Gear Selection for Audi 6sp Manual Transmission

This document is intended as an update towards the progress of our project group in ME344-Machine Design on the manual transmission design project. Our rst assignment was to project values for the spacing between the in- put/mainshafts and the countershaft ( c ), as well as the diametrical pitch for the gears ( P ). With these values set as variables, we were able to determine the diameter of each of the twelve gears ( d 1 ; d 2 ::: ), and number of teeth per gear ( N 1 ; N 2 ; ::: ). Photoshop for Art Teachers: selection tools

This is the first section where I start to teach Photoshop, and I start with the Selection tools. Through a methodical approach to them, I find I can introduce good workplace behaviors and procedures.

I classify class time activities as exercises and worksheets. I usually demonstrate the process on a large screen (my Apple Lab has a built in projector connected to my computer) while student’s have their screens turned off. Depending on the difficulty or complexity of the process, I may have students do work along with me. In class time activities I monitor student’s screens and help them as needed, and encourage peer advising and coaching.

Resizing images with Adobe Photoshop and Posting the Resized Image in Project Builder

Often times images are posted on the web and resized with HTML code. This leads to an image full of jagged edges. By resizing your image in an image editing program, such as Adobe Photoshop, you can utilize smoothing algorithms that will make an image look much smoother. Additionally, resizing the image will reduce the file size, allowing a web page to load faster than usual. This document will be written in the sense that you’re working on a CAE workstation.
