Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw – Shortcuts, Tips & Tricks

The keyboard shortcuts that you know and love in Photoshop are the same in the Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) dialog box (when applicable). For example,Command (Mac) / Control (Win) + (plus) zooms in and (minus) zooms out. The other tool shortcuts are:
Z Zoom tool
H Hand tool
I White Balance tool (shift can temporarily activate the White balance tool – unless the crop tool is active)
S Color Sampler tool
C Crop tool
A Straighten tool
L/R Rotate image left/right (Command (Mac) / Control (Win) + “[“ or “]”will also rotate the selected images.)

In Photoshop CS3,many of the shortcuts for the application menus,palette menus and tools can be customized using the Keyboard Shortcuts Editor. Although this document mentions some of these “customizable” shortcuts, it also provides additional functionality only accessible through the use of keyboard modifiers (which can’t be changed through the Keyboard Shortcut editor). Adobe Photoshop: Sharpening Tips using Layers

In this exercise, we will use layers and filters to sharpen a blurred original, bringing out as much detail as possible without distorting the original image.

Color Settings
The Color Settings dialog box lets you set the default working spaces for RGB, CMYK and Grayscale. It allows you to set Color Management Policies, which dictate how Photoshop uses (or ignores) embedded profiles in images. It also allows you to set warnings for missing or mismatched profiles.
