Ford Car Mobile Radio Installation Guidelines

Ford Motor Company vehicles are designed and tested for safe operation with properly installed and properly used land mobile/amateur radio communication equipment with up to 100 Watt transmitter power.
Special design considerations are incorporated into all Ford vehicle electronic systems to provide immunity to radio frequency signals. Ford Focus Zetec Complete Report Manual

In fact the Ford Focus makes you question what is a small car these days? In a practical departure from most new cars the glove box can take a full size street directory and have room left over. This makes up for the narrow front door pockets and small centre armrest compartment. While there aren’t any rear door pockets, small moulded trays next to the seat look after your knick knacks. Large and heavy, the rear hatch opens quite high, in fact you need to be a bit careful with it. Once open it can require a bit of muscle to get back down.

1996 Volkswagen Golf A/C-Heater System Manual

COMPRESSOR CLUTCH CONTROL
Evaporator Temperature Switch
Although compressor clutch does not normally cycle on and off, an evaporator temperature switch turns off the compressor clutch if evaporator temperature decreases to 32øF (0øC). This prevents evaporator icing.

A/C Pressure Switch
A/C pressure switch is a triple-pressure switch, which monitors high side pressure. See Fig. 1. If pressure decreases to less than 17.4 psi (1.2 kg/cmý), A/C pressure switch interrupts power to compressor clutch (low-pressure cutout). Switch closes when pressure increases to more than 34.8 psi (2.4 kg/cmý).

Ford Mustang Wiring Diagram for 1987-1993 Instrument Cluster

If you are attempting to install a 1990-1993 steering wheel in a 1987-1989 car, then the steering column must also be changed. All
connections will hook up in the steering column except for the harness from the steering wheel, which provides the horn and cruise control signal. The windshield wipers will not work if the 1990-1993 switch is used on the 1987-1989 harness. Testing with a multimeter will show you the wires that Ford chose to move when the design of the switch changes. All controls have the same wiring except the windshield wipers. After the correct wires are determined, it is an easy task to remove the wires from the plug by pressing down on the tab on the front of the plug and sliding the wire out the back. Then, the wire can be inserted into the previously unused connection hole on the plug.

Bulk Instructions Simple

Step 1 – Muffler Disassembly
Before removing any fasteners, it is a good idea to make some marks on the shell and end-caps that will remind you how to orient the end-caps during reassembly.
If one of the muffler’s end-caps has threaded fasteners, remove them and pull out the end-cap that they hold in place. If the core is still in the muffler go to Step 2. If the core is attached to the end-cap that you just removed, remove the other end-cap and re-install the core and the attached end-cap.
(Tip: If sealant is visible where the muffler body meets the end-cap, cut through it with a razor knife to break its bond.)
STEP 2 – Packing Installation
Push small amounts of the into the muffler cavity spirally around the core. Use a blunt tool like a ruler or dowel to tamp the packing into place.

1993 Bronco/Econoline/F-Series Evaporator Case Assembly Workshop Manual

Evaporator Case Assembly The evaporator case assembly is attached to the engine side of the dash panel. The case is a two-piece molded construction, one piece of which forms a cover over the evaporator core. An integral vacuum reservoir is part of the cover housing. This reservoir and the vacuum motor, which operates the outside/recirc air door, are linked through a check valve to a hose that supplies engine vacuum. The blower housing is an integral part of the evaporator case. It houses the blower motor and wheel assembly which attaches to the case through a mounting flange on the blower motor. The blower motor resistor assembly is attached to the case with its thermal elements extending into the air stream inside the evaporator case. The suction accumulator/drier is attached to the evaporator core by a support bracket.

Oracle 9i under Fedora Core 3 − Installation HOWTO

This tutorial was written due to my frustration on installing Oracle 9i on FC3. Basically 9i installation on RAS 1,2,3 RH 9, FC1, FC2 is documented fairly well but it is hard to find anything worthwhile on FC3; some people even suggested that installing Oracle 9i on FC3 is not possible. This HOWTO attempts to condense all my experience and findings with any such info peculiar to FC3, which was before scattered all over the web, into one concise but useful document.
