Other image processing programs, such as Picture Window Pro and Paint Shop Pro, include similar tools but the Levels and Curves tools in Photoshop® are powerful and fluid. Photoshop® CS adds a critically important feature: the ability to use layers and other tools with 16-bit images. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE TOOLS AND PARTS YOU’LL NEED
These common hand tools are needed in almost every installation:
- Phillips #2 screwdriver
- Knife and blades
- Digital multimeter (DMM)
- 1/4” drive sockets are often needed for dashboard and trim disassembly.
- 3/8” drive sockets are often needed for seat removal and reinstallation.
- Check if Torx or Allen-drive bolts are used on any panels you will be removing.
- Wire cutters, strippers,and a crimping tool
- Panel-removing tools
- Marking pen or chalk, and cleaning cloths

Photoshop Elements 4.0 (from hereon referred to as PE4) is an image editing software that is inexpensive and powerful enough to allow you to composite (collage) images, fix images, crop them, and save them in a variety of formats.

Step 1 – Open Program and Getting
Photos
After installing the software and opening up the software you will see the “welcome” window. Select “View and Organize Photos”. This will open up the Organizer window. Click File > Get Photos > From Files and Folders and navigate to Desktop > Tutorial > Scans and click “Get Photos”. Our tutorial files should be imported into the Organizer.
