Installation Guide M10 Monitor/ Dual-Zone Controller

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE TOOLS AND PARTS YOU’LL NEED
These common hand tools are needed in almost every installation:
- Phillips #2 screwdriver
- Knife and blades
- Digital multimeter (DMM)
- 1/4” drive sockets are often needed for dashboard and trim disassembly.
- 3/8” drive sockets are often needed for seat removal and reinstallation.
- Check if Torx or Allen-drive bolts are used on any panels you will be removing.
- Wire cutters, strippers,and a crimping tool
- Panel-removing tools
- Marking pen or chalk, and cleaning cloths

2004-2008 Acura TSX Daylight Running Lights (DRL) Module Manual Transmission

1. Mount the DRL Module (A)* using zip ties or an optional hardware to sway bar, or any other location away from direct heat.
2. ORANGE (thick) – connect to 1 of the 2 battery terminals located in the under-hood fuse box, as indicated by (B). Be careful not to touch those terminals to ground/chassis, as they are live batt.12V terminals. Do NOT insert the fuse yet.
3. BLACK – connect to solid ground.
4. WHITE – connect to High Beam bulb.
a) Locate and disconnect the Driver’s side High Beam bulb connector
b) Cut the Black wire leading to that connector and connect the WHITE wire to the bulb side of the Black wire. The other side of the cut black wire can be left exposed or covered. It’s just a chassis ground wire, so leaving it exposed will have no effect on anything.

Model TRU300R Installation Manual

Keep wiring away from moving engine parts, exhaust pipes and high-tension cable. Tape wires that pass through holes on the firewall to prevent fraying. Watches out sharp edges that may damage wires and causes short circuit.
CAUTION: Do not connect the wire harness to the control module until all wiring to vehicle is complete.

Electronic Signal Modifier Instructions

These instructions are only a guide to proper installation. It is the technicians’ responsibility to confirm all connections are correct, use of the proper factory service manual is recommended. We recommend that only a competent and qualified mechanic perform this installation
1) Disconnect negative terminal of battery.
2) Confirm correct plug, pin # and wire colors on ECU and ESM match the diagram provided. All connections are in one plug, check diagram for your vehicle. If there is any discrepancy between your car and the instructions consult the factory service manual to confirm proper pin locations.

Installation Guide:
1. Removing factory tail light. Seat removal needed (2 alien bolts and slide it outj.Upper tail needs to be removed (4 alien bolts and gently pull up and back – remove left and right side covers first). Disconnect factory tail light harness.
2. Unscrew two screws holding bracket to upper tail. Remove bracket and swap over to new LED tail light. Take note the order of the washers. Locate and disconnect the factory signal connectors (blue and orange). Remove factory signals

Tools Needed To Complete This Install Hand tools needed Accessory tools needed to test and to remove radio wire the new radio PLUS: Wire ties or electrical tape: to neatly bundle and organize your wires for a professional appearance. TOOL TIPS: Small Battery: use a battery to test speaker wires. Touching the (+) positive and (-) negative baterry leads to a pair of speaker will cause the speaker to make a “Pop” sound indicating that pair of wires goes to that speaker. Voltage Meter: Always check +12 Volt power wires for voltage before making wire connections. These wires will fluctuate between 10 and 14 Volts. Solder Iron or Crimp Tool: make wire to wire connections using either a solder iron and electrical tape, OR plastic crimp terminals found at most hardware or auto parts stores.

ECT Display Driver – Installation for AP2 Module

The ECT Display Driver is a small module with a removable wire harness that mounts behind the driver’s foot well cover. All wiring connections are near the ECM and only 4 wires are needed for basic operation:
• +5v power from the ECM (T-tap)
• Ground – available at ECM mounting bolt
• ECT sensor wire (T-tap at ECM)
• Dash temperature gauge wire (must cut at ECM)

If you want to use the optional Alarm Output feature 3 more wires are needed:
• Ground (must be run separate from the module’s power ground)
• Module output (negative) to your alarm device (sounder or indicator light, not included)
• +12v ignition or accessory power wired directly to your alarm device

2003-2006 Honda / Acura CD Changer Interface Model HONASX V.2 Installation

The HONASX can either provide up to 2 auxiliary audio inputs to your Honda radio for use with any device that has RCA line level outputs, or provides 1 auxiliary audio input and allows interfacing an aftermarket CD Changer. AUX 1 is the 8 pin DIN to RCA cable which plugs into the 8 pin DIN port on the HONASX interface. AUX 2 is the set of RCAs that are wired directly to the HONASX. These audio inputs are perfectly suited for Multimedia devices such as VCRs, DVD’s, Game Systems or TV tuners. Portable music players such as MP3, MD and CD players can utilize these inputs as well.
