Web 2008 Automated Processes and Actions in Photoshop
What are Photoshop actions and automated processes? An Action is a series of tasks that you play back on a single file or batch of files – Like menu commands, pallet options, tool actions and so on. You can create an action that will resize and image, apply a 5 pixel border, or convert it to a grayscale image. You can create an action combining many steps in a single process. By creating actions you are applying automation to your workflow, thus handling a multitude of possibly repetitive tasks with only a few click of your mouse.
To create an action you would need to open an image and record the steps you would normally apply to get your desired end result.
This session will cover the following Automated processes:
• Batch – Batch process (more than one image) with actions
• Contact sheet
• Web gallery
